Patrick Richards - Chairman of Albrighton Traders’ Association

Patrick both lives and works in Albrighton. Patrick commenced working with Peter Chester of P W Chester Butchers in 1964, taking over the business in 1999 upon Peter’s retirement.

Patrick is an active member of the prestigious Guild of Q Butchers and has gained many awards at national level for his homemade products. Patrick is also a member of the Wolverhampton & District Butchers’ Association.

In his younger days Patrick was a keen member of Albrighton Round Table.

Patrick has always enjoyed living and working in the village and firmly believes in the value to the community of the Albrighton Traders’ Association.

Warwick Fletcher - Vice Chairman

Warwick has spent most of his life in Albrighton.

Having worked in the Internet and IT industry for well over 10 years he has now built up his own Web design and Internet consultancy business in Albrighton.

Specialising in the design and build of e-commerce, end user and educational web systems also consulting in web compliance and DDA web regulations.

Gaynor Richards - Secretary of Albrighton Traders’ Association

Gaynor lives in Albrighton and is a working-partner with her husband, Patrick, at their High Street Butchers shop. Prior to Gaynor’s complete career change she was employed for 18 years as Office Manager/Secretary at practice of Chartered Building Surveyors.

Gaynor highly values living in the community of Albrighton and fully supports the Albrighton Traders’ Association believing that local business should promote itself to improve the local economy, business growth and skills development thus helping to create a healthy social/economic environment.

Richard Blincoe

Treasurer, Albrighton Traders’ Association

Richard Blincoe has lived in Albrighton since 1957 attending Shifnal Secondary Modern School prior to commencing his training in the menswear trade.

In October 1982 Richard, with his business partner, Brian Jones, set up Brian Richard Menswear in High Street, Albrighton. The business has an international reputation for high quality clothing for which it is very proud.
Of particular interest is the building in which Richard and Brian run their business. During the Second World War the building was the local air raid shelter!

In his younger days Richard was an active member of Albrighton Round Table.

Richard is the present Chairman of the Albrighton Crime Prevention Panel having been involved with the Panel for the past fourteen years.

Richard believes in the Albrighton Traders’ Association and the benefits it will undoubtedly bring to its members and community.

Don Hickman

Committee member

Don lives in Albrighton and represents his daughter’s business, Association member, Jayne Eyre Hairdressing, High Street, Albrighton.

Prior to retirement Don operated his own small foundry business.

Don is extremely active in his retirement being a local councillor, School Governor of both a Secondary School and Junior School in the area and also Chairman of a local Nature Reserve.

Don is fully behind the Albrighton Traders’ Association and a very active member.
